Artistic Approach : Matter

Matter, silence and transparence

This work, inspired by the essay of Gaston Bachelard on Water and Dreams, and by the work of Zao Wu Ki, is a very personal expression of the mystical dimension that I believe, lies hidden behind matter.Lines gorged with water and light, wander in space.

Silence. Contemplation. Quietness.

Drown by the transparent colors on the page, our soul is invited to melt in matter, transcended by its aquatic dimension. The crystalline water, enchants our reveries approaching sleeping waters, that can also become mysterious and obscure. The metaphoric lines, float freely in imaginary liquids, inviting the spectator to slow down and observe what is. The pigments, sublimated by light, glow beautifully on the page
